What counts as wraparound?

Three things, usually bundled together:

• Breakfast clubs — typically 7.45am–8.45am on-site at school or a nearby community venue. £3–£6 per morning.
• After-school clubs — typically 3.15pm–6pm. £8–£14 per session. Many include a snack and homework time.
• Holiday clubs / camps — full-day care during Easter, summer, October half-term and Christmas. £25–£45 per day in Swansea, usually with early-drop and late-pick options.

The £289m English Wraparound Childcare Programme doesn't apply in Wales. Welsh primary schools run wraparound under the Welsh Government's separate funding settlement, which is why provision is more fragmented here than in England.
