The Playbox, St Johns Methodist Church Preschool was inspected by Ofsted on 13 July 2022 and received an overall rating of Good. In their report, inspectors noted: "Children arrive at the nursery excited to join in with a planned activities week. Some children choose to have their faces painted and others wear fancy-dress animal ears and tails to join in with the day's theme. Children delight to see that adults are wearing animal ears too."
