The Lantern Preschool was inspected by Ofsted on 24 January 2022 and received an overall rating of Good. In their report, inspectors noted: "Children are greeted by gentle and kind staff. They settle quickly and are soon playing with favourite activities, such as investigating equipment with cogs, playing with toy dolls, or building train tracks. There is a calm atmosphere, with children positively engaged in their learning."
