Pied Piper Pre School was inspected by Ofsted on 3 July 2024 and received an overall rating of Good. In their report, inspectors noted: "Children who attend this safe setting are settled and confident learners. Staff support children to settle quickly and, as a result, all children are happy to enter the setting without their parents or carers. Staff encourage children to be independent, for example, through self-registration."
Key strengths
- Staff develop children's vocabulary effectively.
- The well-planned curriculum and provision provide lots of opportunities for children to develop their independence.
- Staff have a good understanding of safeguarding and how to keep children safe in the setting.
- Children follow routines, and staff regularly praise children for displaying positive behaviour.
