Nanny'S House was inspected by Ofsted on 2 September 2021 and received an overall rating of Good. In their report, inspectors noted: "Children of all ages feel completely at home in the nurturing nursery, where they play, explore and learn with confidence. Children feel particularly happy, safe and secure. Babies and toddlers enjoy cuddles with staff, who are affectionate and attentive to their needs."

- The manager and staff are keen to expand children's experiences, particularly outdoors.
- Staff know the children very well and observe children's play and development closely.
- Babies often share an environment with children up to the age of three which, for the most part, works very well.
- Staff are strong and positive role models and guide children's behaviour sensitively.
- Partnerships with parents are strong and parents are very appreciative of the high levels of support and care their children receive.
Areas for improvement
- adapt teaching more effectively when supporting groups of different aged children to offer the highest levels of support for all children's learning
- give children more opportunities to learn about people and communities who are different to their own.
