Millom Stepping Stones was inspected by Ofsted on 23 July 2025 and received an overall rating of Good. In their report, inspectors noted: "This setting places the needs of children at the heart of its provision. Staff take time to understand children's unique needs, interests and characters. For example, staff in the baby room try to follow children's sleep routines from home, as much as possible, to help children feel secure and happy."
