Making Friends Day Nursery was inspected by Ofsted on 18 January 2022 and received an overall rating of Good. In their report, inspectors noted: "Children are supported to feel safe, settled and secure by the caring staff team. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, parents are no longer allowed to enter the setting. Hand overs are completed at the entrance and parents confirm that staff keep them well informed about how their children have been."
Key strengths
- Staff continually review children's progress, which enables them to quickly identify any child who is at risk of falling behind in their development.
- The manager has a very clear overview of what she wants children to learn over time.
- Overall, children's communication and language is promoted well.
