Magdalen Nursery Sutton was inspected by Ofsted on 28 July 2022 and received an overall rating of Good. In their report, inspectors noted: "Children explore confidently and independently, accessing their own resources. There is a happy atmosphere where children play alongside each other, allowing adults into their play. Some children had been exploring the story of the 'The Three Little Pigs' and were given activities to use their knowledge of the story to recreate it."
