Longstanton Pre-School was inspected by Ofsted on 15 January 2025 and received an overall rating of Good. In their report, inspectors noted: "Children have fun and enjoy their time in the pre-school. They collect water in buckets from the garden tap, pouring the water in the mud to make muddy puddles. They then squeal and laugh as they jump and splash wearing their wellington boots."

- Overall, staff demonstrate good teaching skills and an understanding of how children learn.
