Kaleidoscope Day Nursery was inspected by Ofsted on 20 August 2025 and received an overall rating of Inadequate. In their report, inspectors noted: "Leaders do not implement rigorous recruitment and vetting procedures. For example, they do not undertake Disclosure and Barring service (DBS) checks for all staff who work directly with children. Leaders do not follow advice from the local authority designated officer to improve their recruitment procedures following previous incidences, where DBS checks were not completed."
