Green Lane Pre-School & Day Nursery was inspected by Ofsted on 14 March 2025 and received an overall rating of Good. In their report, inspectors noted: "Staff offer children a safe, secure and inviting nursery. They warmly greet children and parents on arrival. Staff support children's well-being and emotional development effectively."
Key strengths
- Children enjoy frequent outdoor play.
- Children develop their small finger and hand skills well.
- Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are supported very well to achieve and progress from their starting points.
- Parents speak highly of the care and education their children receive.
- Leaders have a love for books and this is very much apparent in the wide range of books available to children and parents.

- review further how staff implement adult-led play so that children can swiftly move on to their own play and learning afterwards.
