Chaldon Pre-School was inspected by Ofsted on 7 July 2022 and received an overall rating of Good. In their report, inspectors noted: "Children develop strong, nurturing relationships with staff at this warm and welcoming nursery. Children and their families are greeted at the door due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Children take this change in their stride and arrive with confidence each day."

The manager and staff have a good knowledge of how children learn.
Children enjoy a range of healthy choices at snack time.
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are well supported.
Staff ensure the outdoor curriculum has a wide range of opportunities for children to have the freedom to explore the natural world.
There is a strong team spirit at the pre-school.
